A Sparkly Celebration!

The ER Team were honoured to attend the Enterprising Women Awards on Friday 8th October where our MD Eileen Richards MBE and Co-Chair of the female networking group alongside welcomed guests alongside Jean Mountain. The group, which is an initiative through the East Midlands Chamber connects and supports women in business across the East Midlands. After postponing the awards due to COVID-19, Friday’s celebrations were excitedly anticipated by finalists and the glamourous evening and stunning outfits did not disappoint!

Hosted at the Nottingham Belfrey by ITV weather girl Emma Jesson who has been a supporter of Enterprising Women for many years, the award ceremony consisted of 8 categories ranging from ‘Apprentice of the Year’ to ‘Small Business of the Year’ and ‘Business Woman of the Year’. The energy and emotion were pulsing throughout the ceremony with finalists being supported by family, colleagues and clients.

After what has been a turbulent time in business, it was great for members to be back together physically to celebrate each other’s success and enjoy an evening of connectivity and positivity.

In continuation of previous EW award ceremonies, this years entries and finalists were once again outstanding with the sponsors facing incredibly difficult decisions when selecting winners from the high calibre applications.
